Suzette Franck was born in 1970 in Hollywood, California, and was raised in Simi Valley, and currently resides in Los Angeles in the NoHo Arts District. Suzette has always been fascinated by bright colors, shiny objects, sparkly things, drawing, toys, collecting, and creating crafts ever since she could hold a crayon and use kindergarden flour paste in tiny tupperware. She mastered pastels, then graduated to oil painting from the ages of 8-13. She took a hiatus from painting but never forgot how much fun she loved when she created, and came back to it several times throughout the years. Suzette has always admired the work of the masters: some of her favorites being Picasso, Monet, Kandinsky, Miro, Van Gogh, Matisse, and Klee. She visits museums to admire their works as often as possible.
